The XTRWELD WCSN6B-500 is a 6 AWG flexible welding cable rated at 600 volts and sold in a 500-foot length. Built for demanding job-site conditions, it features a rope-lay, bunch-stranded 30 AWG SAE copper conductor wrapped with a paper separator and jacketed in a proprietary low-smoke halogen-free (LSHF) EPDM compound. The jacket delivers strong resistance to abrasion, battery acid, diesel fuel, gasoline, ethanol, engine oil, engine coolant, power-steering fluid, transmission fluid, flame, and extreme temperatures. Licensed electricians, welding professionals, and fleet maintenance technicians are the primary installers of this product.
This cable is suited for use in stingers and whips, welding leads, and ground clamp assemblies across industrial, construction, and fleet maintenance environments. It also performs well in battery applications including battery chargers and wire harnesses. The LSHF EPDM jacket makes it a practical choice in enclosed or semi-enclosed workspaces where fume reduction is a priority. The 500-foot spool provides enough run length to stock and cut for multiple assemblies or dedicated long-run installations.
Designed for use in welding lead assemblies, stinger and whip configurations, ground clamp assemblies, battery charger wiring, and wire harness applications requiring a 6 AWG, 600-volt flexible cable.
Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician or certified welding equipment technician in accordance with applicable NEC guidelines. De-energize all connected equipment and disconnect power sources before terminating or splicing the cable. Use appropriately rated lugs and connectors sized for 6 AWG conductor to ensure secure, low-resistance terminations. Inspect the jacket for cuts or abrasion damage before placing the cable in service.
