The XTRWELD WCSN6B-250 is a 250-foot reel of 6 AWG SELECT series welding cable rated at 600 volts and designed for high-flex, high-demand welding applications. The conductor uses a rope-lay, bunch-stranded construction with a paper separator, which allows tight bending and repeated flexing without conductor fatigue. The outer jacket is a low-smoke halogen-free (LSHF) EPDM compound that resists abrasion, cutting, and chemical exposure. Rated at 100 amps at 50 feet, this cable is well-suited for welders, maintenance electricians, and industrial tradespeople who need a reliable, code-compliant conductor for welding leads and portable power assemblies. Manufactured in the USA and compliant with SAE J1127 and RoHS standards.
This cable is used in stingers and whips, welding lead assemblies, and ground clamp connections. It also serves battery-related applications including charger wiring and wire harnesses. The LSHF EPDM jacket performs in environments where exposure to oils, moisture, and physical abrasion is common, such as fabrication shops, field welding sites, and industrial maintenance settings. The 250-foot reel length allows technicians to cut custom lengths for multiple drops or full-run installations without excessive waste.
Suitable for use in stingers, whips, welding leads, and ground clamp assemblies, as well as battery charger wiring and wire harness applications requiring 6 AWG, 600-volt-rated flexible cable.
Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician or certified welding technician in accordance with applicable NEC guidelines for flexible welding cable. De-energize and lock out all equipment before connecting or disconnecting cable ends. Inspect the jacket for cuts or abrasion before each use, and do not operate the cable coiled tightly, as this can cause excessive heat buildup at rated amperage. Use appropriately rated lugs and connectors rated for the conductor size and application current.
