The XTRWELD WCS3/0B-250 is a 3/0 AWG, 600-volt welding cable designed for demanding industrial and welding applications. It uses a rope-lay, bunch-stranded copper conductor construction with a paper separator and a low-smoke halogen-free (LSHF) EPDM jacket that resists abrasion and flex fatigue. Rated at 500 amps at 50 feet, this cable handles high-current welding loads without breakdown. The EPDM outer jacket maintains flexibility across a wide temperature range, making it suitable for both shop environments and field use. Each order covers a single 250-foot reel. Manufactured in the USA and compliant with SAE J1127 and RoHS standards.
This cable is suited for use in stinger and whip assemblies, welding leads, and ground clamp connections. It also serves battery-based applications including battery chargers and wire harness builds. The 3/0 AWG gauge and 500-amp rating make it appropriate for heavy-duty MIG, stick, and arc welding setups where long lead runs and sustained current draw are routine. Electricians, welding equipment technicians, and industrial maintenance professionals are the primary installers. The 250-foot reel length supports full lead assembly runs with minimal splicing.
Designed for use in stinger and whip assemblies, welding leads, ground clamp welding assemblies, battery chargers, and wire harnesses. Suitable for any application requiring a SAE J1127-rated welding cable in 3/0 AWG at 600 volts.
Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician or certified welding equipment technician familiar with applicable NEC and industry welding safety standards. De-energize and lock out all welding power sources before connecting or terminating cable ends. Use appropriately rated lugs and connectors sized for 3/0 AWG conductor to maintain full ampacity and a secure mechanical connection. Avoid sharp bends at termination points to prevent jacket damage and conductor stress.
