The XTRWELD WCS1/0XFO-50CL is a 1/0 AWG, 600-volt flexible welding cable sold as a 50-foot cut length. The XFO series has been re-engineered with improved stranding and jacketing to deliver superior flexibility in demanding environments. The conductor uses rope-lay, bunch-stranded ultra-fine SAE copper wire at 34 or 36 AWG strand gauge, and the jacket is a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) compound. This cable is manufactured in the USA, meets SAE J1127 standards, and is RoHS compliant. It is specified by welding professionals, pipefitters, and industrial electricians where high-flex performance and chemical resistance are required.
The WCS1/0XFO-50CL is suited for commercial and industrial welding applications that demand repeated flexing and movement. Typical use cases include pipeline welding operations, robotic welding arms, and constrained-space installations where a stiff cable would restrict movement or cause fatigue failures. The signature orange jacket with deep black striping aids in cable identification on busy job sites. The 50-foot cut length allows direct installation without the waste or added cost of a full spool purchase.
Designed for commercial and industrial welding systems requiring 1/0 AWG, 600-volt flexible cable in high-flex applications including pipeline, robotic, and constrained-area installations.
Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician or certified welding professional in accordance with applicable NEC guidelines and equipment manufacturer requirements. De-energize all connected equipment and verify zero voltage before terminating or splicing the cable. Avoid sharp bends at termination points to preserve the conductor integrity and jacket seal. Inspect the jacket for cuts or abrasion before placing the cable in service.
