The XTRWELD CL4043125-1DP is a 4043 filler metal with 5% silicon aluminum, widely used for aluminum welding in fabrication and general repair. The smooth running ER4043 is often preferred because of its reduced crack sensitivity. This TIG (GTAW) welding wire has silicon additives, which result in improved fluidity of the weld pool. It comes in a 1 lb display pack.
