The XTRWELD 7492 is a Bernard-style MIG contact tip sold in a 10-piece bag, designed as an OEM-quality replacement for Bernard traditional consumables. The contact tip is the final point of electrical contact between the welding wire and the weld pool, directing current and guiding wire through the nozzle assembly. Sized at 5/64 inches, this tip is suited for MIG guns operating with matching wire diameters. Each tip is marked with its part number or size for fast identification in the field. Welders, fabricators, and maintenance technicians install these as routine consumable replacements during MIG welding operations.
This contact tip is designed for use with Bernard BTB, S-Gun, and W-Gun MIG welding guns. It serves as a compatible replacement for Bernard Centerfire, Quick Tip, AccuLock, and S series consumables. These series are not cross-mixed within the same setup, but the 7492 can be used as a full drop-in replacement for any one of those series. Typical applications include structural fabrication, maintenance welding, and production MIG welding in both shop and field environments.
Designed for use with Bernard BTB, S-Gun, and W-Gun MIG welding guns. Functions as a full replacement for Bernard Centerfire, Quick Tip, AccuLock, and S series consumables. These series are not intermixable within a single gun setup.
Contact tips are installed and serviced by welders and fabrication technicians as standard consumable maintenance. Always power down and disconnect the welding gun from the power source before removing or installing a contact tip. Use the appropriate tip wrench or pliers rated for the gun body to avoid damaging threads. Inspect the gas diffuser and nozzle for wear or spatter buildup when replacing tips.
