The XTRWELD 45V28 is a standard medium gas lens designed for TIG welding torches. Gas lenses replace the standard collet body in a TIG torch and use a layered mesh screen to produce a laminar, evenly distributed shielding gas flow around the tungsten electrode. This stabilized gas coverage improves arc quality, reduces contamination of the weld pool, and allows the tungsten to be extended farther from the cup without losing gas coverage. The 45V28 measures 0.62 inches in diameter and fits the 5/32 inch electrode size. Installation Notes
