The XTRWELD 403-20-116 is a heavy duty MIG welding contact tip manufactured to OEM-equivalent quality in the Tregaskiss Toughlock style. Contact tips are the current-transfer consumable at the end of a MIG gun neck, guiding the wire and conducting welding current directly at the arc. This tip is sized for 3/32-inch wire and is sold in a 10-pack. It is marked with the part number and size for fast field identification during changeover. Welders and welding maintenance technicians working with high-production or heavy-duty MIG setups will find this a direct-fit replacement for Tregaskiss Toughlock and AccuLock R series tips.
This contact tip is designed for use with Tregaskiss Tough Gun and Bernard BTB TGX MIG welding guns. It is suited to industrial and production welding environments where Tregaskiss-style consumables are the standard. The 403-20-116 follows the Tregaskiss traditional consumable form factor and can serve as a full system replacement for Tregaskiss Toughlock and AccuLock R series consumables. Note that traditional and Toughlock series consumables are not intermixed within the same gun setup — a full changeover is required when switching between series.
For use with Tregaskiss Tough Gun and Bernard BTB TGX guns. Compatible as a full replacement for Tregaskiss Toughlock and AccuLock R series contact tips. Traditional and Toughlock series consumables are not mixable within the same gun configuration.
Contact tip replacement is a routine consumable service performed by welders or welding technicians. Always power down the welder and allow the gun neck to cool before removing a spent tip. Use the appropriate tip wrench to avoid cross-threading or damaging the diffuser threads. Confirm wire diameter and series compatibility before installing to ensure proper current transfer and wire feed.
