The XTRWELD 11T-23 is a tapered MIG welding contact tip designed for use with 0.023-inch wire. It belongs to the 11T Series, which follows Tweco-style dimensions and threading. The contact tip is the consumable component at the end of a MIG gun nozzle assembly through which welding wire feeds and conducts current. It is manufactured to OEM-equivalent tolerances and is marked with the part number and wire size for fast identification during contact tip changes. Welders and fabricators working with light-gauge wire in short-arc or pulse MIG applications will find this tip a straightforward drop-in service replacement.
This contact tip is suited for use in light-duty MIG welding setups operating at 100A to 160A. It fits Tweco-style MIG guns in that amperage range, including guns patterned after the Classic Weldskill and Mini-MIG designs. Typical install scenarios include production welding shops, maintenance and repair operations, and light fabrication environments where 0.023-inch solid or flux-core wire is run on sheet metal and thin structural material.
Designed as a Tweco-style replacement contact tip for MIG guns rated 100A to 160A, including guns patterned after the Classic Weldskill and Mini-MIG platforms. Compatible with 0.023-inch wire diameter applications.
Contact tip replacement is a routine MIG gun maintenance task performed by welders and wire-feed equipment technicians. Always power down the welder and allow the nozzle assembly to cool before removing a worn or spattered tip. Use the appropriate tip wrench or pliers designed for contact tip removal to avoid damaging the diffuser threads. Do not overtighten the replacement tip, as this can restrict wire feed and damage the tip seat.
