Compatibility

Designed for use with oil-based paints, marine paints, enamels, varnishes, urethanes, and stains. Natural China bristles are not recommended for use with latex or water-based coatings, as water causes the bristles to swell and lose their set.

Installation Notes

Before use, work the bristles gently by hand to remove any loose fill. For best results with oil-based or marine coatings, pre-condition the bristles by dipping in the appropriate solvent and wiping dry prior to loading with paint. Clean thoroughly with the recommended solvent for the coating applied immediately after use to preserve bristle condition. Store flat or hanging to maintain bristle shape.
