Compatibility

Designed for use with oil-base marine paints, enamels, varnishes, urethanes, and stains. Not recommended for use with water-based latex coatings, which can cause natural China bristle to swell and lose shape.

Installation Notes

Before first use, flex the bristles by hand to remove any loose fill. For oil-based coatings, pre-condition the brush with mineral spirits or the appropriate solvent before loading with paint. Clean thoroughly with the solvent recommended by the coating manufacturer immediately after use to extend bristle life. Store hanging or laying flat with bristles protected to maintain shape.
