The WOOSTER BRUSH Z1120-2 is a 2-inch Yachtsman paintbrush built for oil-based coatings in demanding marine and finishing applications. It features natural white China bristles, which hold a full load of material and release it evenly for smooth, consistent coverage. The solid black plastic handle provides a firm grip during extended use, and the round brass-plated steel ferrule locks the bristles securely in place to minimize shedding. Painting contractors, marine maintenance crews, and finish carpenters working with oil-based products will find this brush well-suited to detail and trim work.
This brush is designed for use with oil-based marine paints, enamels, varnishes, urethanes, and stains. It is a practical choice for boat refinishing, deck trim, cabinetry, and any application where a natural-bristle brush is preferred over synthetic. The 2-inch width makes it effective for narrow panels, trim edges, and tight surfaces where a wider brush would be difficult to control. It is sold individually and is also available in a package quantity of 12, making it a logical stocking item for supply houses and professional painting operations.
Designed for use with oil-based marine paints, enamels, varnishes, urethanes, and stains. Natural bristle construction is not recommended for use with waterborne latex coatings, as water causes natural bristles to swell and lose their set.
Before use, condition the bristles by working a small amount of the intended coating into the brush to remove any loose bristles and prime the fill. Clean thoroughly with appropriate solvent after each use to preserve bristle integrity. Store the brush hanging or lying flat — never resting on the bristle tips — to maintain the original bristle shape. Follow all applicable safety guidelines for handling and disposing of solvent-saturated materials.
