Wooster Brush R243-9 Nap Roller Cover 9 in 1-1/4 in

Product Description

The WOOSTER BRUSH R243-9 is a 9-inch nap roller cover designed for professional application of flat and satin paints, stains, and waterproofing coatings. The cover uses a proprietary golden yellow fabric construction that holds a high volume of material per pass, reducing reload frequency on large surfaces. The green Sherlock copolymer core is engineered to resist solvents and prevent delamination during extended use. Sold in a package quantity of 12, this roller cover suits production painters, contractors, and trade professionals who need consistent results across multiple applications without fabric breakdown mid-job.

This roller cover is suited for residential and light commercial painting work where flat or satin finishes are being applied to walls, ceilings, and smooth-to-lightly-textured surfaces. The 1-1/4-inch nap depth provides adequate material capacity for moderately textured surfaces while still delivering a smooth, even finish. It is compatible with water-based and solvent-based paints, stains, and waterproofing products. The fabric resists matting under pressure, which supports complete, uniform coverage across wide surface areas in a single application pass.

Installation Notes

Installation is performed by painters and coating applicators using a standard 9-inch roller frame. Before use, pre-wet the cover with the appropriate solvent or water depending on the coating type to prime the fabric and reduce lint transfer. After use, clean thoroughly to extend cover life when reuse is intended. Follow coating manufacturer guidelines and applicable safety data sheet requirements when working with solvent-based products.
