Wirepath WP-PC-CAT6-25FT-WHT Cat6 Patch Cable 25 Ft

Product Description

The WIREPATH WP-PC-CAT6-25FT-WHT is a Category 6 Ethernet patch cable measuring 25 feet in length, finished in white. It is designed to carry structured network data connections between network switches, patch panels, routers, and end devices in both residential and light commercial installations. Cat6 cabling supports bandwidths up to 250 MHz and is backward compatible with Cat5e and Cat5 infrastructure. The white jacket aids in cable identification in organized wiring environments. Low-voltage network technicians and structured cabling installers are the primary trades that deploy this cable.

This patch cable is suited for connecting wall jacks to network switches, linking patch panels to active equipment in telecom closets, or running device drops in home theater and whole-home audio-video distribution systems. At 25 feet, it covers mid-range runs within equipment racks, server rooms, and finished living spaces where a longer flexible jumper is needed. It ships as a single unit and is ready to install out of the package with terminated ends.

Key Features

• Category 6 rated for up to 250 MHz bandwidth support
• 25-foot length handles mid-range patch and equipment connections
• White jacket simplifies color-coded cable management schemes
• Backward compatible with Cat5e and Cat5 infrastructure
• Factory-terminated ends for immediate deployment without field termination

Compatibility

Designed as a standard Cat6 patch cable compatible with RJ45 ports on network switches, routers, patch panels, and network interface cards that accept 8P8C modular connectors.

Installation Notes

Low-voltage technicians and structured cabling installers typically handle Cat6 patch cable deployment. No special tools are required for pre-terminated patch cables; verify that destination ports are powered down or set to inactive before insertion where switch port sensitivity is a concern. Follow TIA-568 bend radius guidelines and avoid sharp creases or pinch points that can degrade signal performance. Do not exceed the rated horizontal run limits of the broader cabling system when combining patch cable length with in-wall runs.
