The WIREPATH NST-CAT6-1000-GRY is a 1000-foot bulk spool of Category 6 riser-rated (CMR) unshielded twisted-pair (UTP) cable in gray. Riser cable meets the burn and smoke requirements for vertical runs between building floors, making it the correct choice when local code requires CMR-rated cabling in non-plenum vertical pathways. Low-voltage installers and structured-wiring contractors use this cable to pull data runs for Ethernet networks, VoIP systems, IP cameras, and access-control panels. The 1000-foot spool length is sized for typical commercial and residential structured-wiring projects.

This cable is suited for horizontal and vertical in-wall or in-conduit data runs in residential and light-commercial construction.
