The WIREPATH NST-CAT6-1000-GRN is a 1000-foot pull box of Category 6 riser-rated (CMR) bulk ethernet cable. Designed for in-wall and between-floor structured wiring runs, this cable supports Gigabit Ethernet and high-speed data networks in residential and light commercial installations. The green jacket aids in cable identification during rough-in and termination work. Low-voltage installers and data cabling technicians pull this type of cable through conduit or open stud bays to establish backbone and horizontal distribution runs in structured wiring systems.
This cable is suited for riser applications where cable must pass vertically between floors without plenum-rated jacketing. Typical install scenarios include home automation systems, network closet home runs, patch panel feeds, and structured media center drops. The 1000-foot pull box format is the standard quantity for whole-home or small-commercial wiring projects and minimizes mid-run splices.
Designed as a standard Cat6 riser bulk cable compatible with 8P8C (RJ45) keystone jacks, patch panels, and field-termination connectors rated for Cat6 or higher performance.
Installation should be performed by a licensed low-voltage technician or structured cabling installer in accordance with TIA-568 standards and applicable local codes. Power down any active network equipment before terminating runs. Avoid sharp bends below the cable minimum bend radius and do not bundle tightly with high-voltage AC wiring, as this can degrade signal performance. Riser-rated cable is not approved for use in air-handling plenum spaces — verify ceiling and shaft classifications before pulling.
