The WIREPATH NST-CAT5E-1000-ORG is a 1000-foot bulk spool of Cat5e unshielded twisted-pair (UTP) network cable in an orange jacket. Cat5e cable supports 100 MHz bandwidth and is rated for Gigabit Ethernet (1000BASE-T) applications. This spool is sized for structured wiring installations where a full box pull is needed. Low-voltage installers, electricians, and AV integrators use this cable for in-wall and in-ceiling data and voice runs in residential and light commercial environments.
This cable is suited for horizontal runs in residential structured wiring projects, small office builds, and retrofit data installations. The 1000-foot pull box format is standard for new construction and renovation work where multiple drops are terminated from a central distribution panel or patch bay. Orange jacketing is commonly used to designate data or specific circuit types for easier identification in structured cabling systems.
Designed as a standard Cat5e bulk cable for use with RJ-45 keystone jacks, patch panels, and modular plugs rated for Cat5e termination in structured low-voltage wiring systems.
Installation should be performed by a licensed low-voltage technician or electrician in accordance with applicable NEC Article 800 requirements for communications wiring. De-energize any existing circuits in the pathway before pulling cable through conduit or framing cavities. Avoid sharp bends tighter than the minimum bend radius specified for Cat5e cable, and do not staple through the jacket. Terminate both ends using Cat5e-rated connectors and a proper punch-down or crimp tool to maintain pair geometry and signal integrity.
