The WIREPATH NST-CAT5E-1000-GRN is a 1000-foot spool of Category 5e riser-rated (CMR) unshielded twisted pair cable supplied in a nest-in-box format for clean, tangle-free pulls. Cat5e riser cable is the standard copper data cable for structured wiring installations in commercial and residential buildings. The riser rating qualifies it for vertical runs between floors in non-plenum spaces. Low-voltage installers and network technicians use this cable for Ethernet data drops, VoIP phone systems, access control wiring, and similar structured cabling applications. The green jacket aids in color-coded cable management and circuit identification during and after installation.

This cable is suited for horizontal and vertical structured cabling runs in office buildings, schools, multi-unit residential projects, and light commercial facilities. The nest-in-box packaging allows the cable to feed out from the center without tangling, which speeds up pulls through conduit or open framing. Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a licensed low-voltage contractor or qualified network cabling technician in accordance with ANSI/TIA-568 structured cabling standards and applicable local codes. Riser-rated cable must not be used as a substitute for plenum-rated (CMP) cable in air-handling spaces.
