The WIREMOLD 1504 is a two-hole strap designed to secure and support raceway or conduit runs along walls, ceilings, and structural surfaces. It provides a solid two-point fastening footprint that resists lateral movement and keeps wiring systems aligned during and after installation. Licensed electricians and electrical contractors install this strap as part of surface raceway systems in commercial and residential settings. At 0.02 pounds, it is lightweight and easy to handle in volume installations where many straps are applied across a single run.
The 1504 strap is used wherever surface-mounted raceway or conduit requires intermediate or end support. Common applications include securing raceway along masonry walls, metal studs, wood framing, and concrete block in commercial office spaces, retail environments, industrial facilities, and multi-family residential buildings. It is well suited for retrofit wiring projects where concealed conduit is not practical and surface raceway provides a clean, code-compliant alternative.
Designed as an OEM-style support strap for use with surface raceway and conduit systems in standard electrical installation applications.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC requirements for raceway support spacing. De-energize all circuits in the work area before mounting straps and pulling wire through the raceway. Use appropriate anchors or fasteners for the substrate type — masonry anchors for concrete block, self-tapping screws for metal studs, and wood screws for framing. Do not overtighten fasteners, as this can deform the strap and misalign the raceway channel.
