The WIRE 14-3wgnm-bcoils is a 14 AWG, 3-conductor with ground NM-B (non-metallic sheathed) cable rated at 600 volts and an allowable ampacity of 15 amps at 60 degrees C per NEC requirements. The cable features solid annealed soft bare copper conductors insulated with color-coded PVC compound and a nylon covering meeting Type THHN insulation standards. A 30 mil PVC outer sheath completes the assembly. Available in 250-foot, 500-foot, and 1000-foot coils, this cable is installed by licensed electricians in residential branch circuit applications and must be handled in accordance with the NEC.
NM-B cable is designed for use in normally dry residential installations, including branch circuits serving outlets, lighting fixtures, and other standard residential loads. Its applications are governed by NEC 2008 and NEC 2011 Article 334. The cable may be fished through masonry or tile walls where it will not be exposed to excessive moisture or dampness. It is not rated for wet or damp locations. This product is lead-free and RoHS compliant, making it suitable for installations where environmental compliance is required.
Designed as an NM-B branch circuit cable for residential wiring applications in normally dry locations as defined under NEC 2008 and NEC 2011 Article 334. Equivalent to Romex NM-B type cable.
Installation must be performed by a qualified, licensed electrician in accordance with the NEC and applicable local codes. Always de-energize the circuit and verify zero voltage at the panel before pulling or terminating any conductors. NM-B cable is approved for dry locations only and must not be installed in wet, damp, or direct-burial environments. Secure and protect the cable per NEC Article 334 stapling and support requirements.
