The WIPCO TC20100ST is a 1-inch CPVC true union ball check valve designed for reliable backflow prevention in industrial and commercial flow control systems. Built with FPM o-rings and a square cut seat, it delivers positive sealing with minimum required back pressure. The true union design allows the valve body to be removed from the line without disturbing the end connections, simplifying inspection and maintenance. Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter familiar with thermoplastic piping systems and applicable plumbing codes. Depressurize and drain the line fully before removing or installing the valve. When using socket connections, follow the solvent cement manufacturer's cure time requirements before returning the line to service. The true union nuts should be hand-tightened and then snugged with a strap wrench only — do not use metal pipe wrenches directly on the valve body.
