The WINTERS PPC5065 is a glycerine-filled process industrial pressure gauge designed for demanding fluid and gas pressure measurement in industrial and commercial systems. The gauge features a 4.5-inch dual-scale analog dial covering 0 to 160 psi, a 316 stainless steel Bourdon tube, and stainless steel wetted parts throughout. The thermoplastic case and polycarbonate lens provide corrosion resistance in wet or chemically active environments. Glycerine fill dampens pointer oscillation caused by pressure spikes or vibration, extending service life and maintaining readability. This gauge is installed by licensed plumbers, pipefitters, HVAC technicians, and industrial maintenance professionals.
The PPC5065 is suited for process piping, hydraulic systems, compressed air lines, water treatment equipment, and chemical handling systems where accurate, vibration-resistant pressure monitoring is required. The lower-mount 1/2-inch NPT connection fits standard pipe fittings used across residential, commercial, and light industrial applications. The IP65 ingress protection rating makes it appropriate for installations exposed to washdown, moisture, or outdoor conditions. The wide operating temperature range of -40 degrees F to 250 degrees F covers most process and HVAC plant environments.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation pressure gauge for process piping, HVAC, compressed air, water treatment, and chemical systems using standard 1/2-inch NPT lower-mount fittings and requiring ANSI/ASME Grade 2A accuracy.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, pipefitter, or qualified industrial maintenance technician in accordance with applicable codes including ASME B40.100 and local piping standards. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing any existing gauge or connecting this unit. Apply appropriate thread sealant to the NPT threads — do not overtighten, as thermoplastic components can crack under excessive torque. Verify that system pressure and temperature do not exceed the rated maximums of 160 psi and 250 degrees F during operation.
