The WINTERS PFP851-25FF-SG. is a liquid-fillable pressure gauge built for demanding industrial and mechanical applications. It features a 2.5-inch dial with a dual-scale analog display and a 0 to 6000 psi pressure range. The case is 304 stainless steel and all wetted parts are stainless steel, making it resistant to corrosion in harsh service environments. The gauge is glycerine-filled to dampen pointer vibration and protect internal components. Accuracy is rated at 1.6 percent of scale, meeting ANSI/ASME Grade 1A and ASME B40.100 standards. A polycarbonate lens provides impact resistance and clear readability. The back-mount, 1/4-inch NPT connection suits a wide range of pressure taps and manifold configurations.

This gauge is suited for hydraulic systems, compressed air lines, fluid processing equipment, and other high-pressure applications where vibration, pulsation, or corrosive media are present. The glycerine fill stabilizes the pointer under fluctuating pressures, extending gauge service life. Its stainless steel wetted parts make it appropriate for installations involving water, oils, or mildly corrosive fluids. The back-mount configuration works well in panel-mount or inline applications where a front or lower connection is not practical. Operating temperature range is -40 degrees F to 250 degrees F.

Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a qualified technician or pipefitter in accordance with applicable ASME and local mechanical codes. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing any existing gauge or making connections. Apply thread sealant appropriate for the media and pressure rating to the NPT threads. Do not use the gauge body or dial as leverage when tightening; use a wrench on the hex of the connection fitting only.
