The WILMAR CORPORATION W54150 is a marine lower unit fluid pump designed for filling and draining gear lubricant in outboard motor lower units and stern drive assemblies. The pump features a double-threaded cap that accepts both quart and gallon size lubricant containers, eliminating the need to swap fittings mid-job. A 24-inch flexible hose allows technicians to reach fill plugs in tight or obstructed locations without repositioning the unit. Marine service technicians and boat mechanics rely on this pump for routine lower unit fluid changes across a wide range of outboard and stern drive applications. The pump ships in a package quantity of 12 units.
This pump is suited for freshwater and saltwater marine service environments where lower unit gear oil changes are performed on outboard motors and stern drives. The dual-thread fitting design covers two common thread standards found across major outboard brands, making it a practical single-tool solution for shops servicing mixed fleets. It is appropriate for both residential marina use and commercial marine service operations.
3/8-16 thread fits OMC, Mercruiser, Evinrude, Johnson, Volvo, Force, Honda 70 HP and up, and Mercury US Origin outboards and stern drives. 8 mm thread fits Yamaha, Nissan, Tohatsu, small Honda outboards, and Mercury Japanese Origin.
Marine technicians should flush and inspect the lower unit for metal contamination before refilling with gear lubricant. Power down and disable the motor before removing fill or drain plugs. Use the appropriate thread end of the pump cap for the brand being serviced to avoid cross-threading. Dispose of used gear oil in accordance with local environmental regulations.
