The WILMAR CORPORATION W514 is a PVC-backed anti-slip grip tape designed to reduce slip-and-fall hazards on high-traffic surfaces. The tape measures 2 inches wide and 192 inches in total length, offering substantial coverage in a single roll. Its high-visibility black and yellow safety pattern signals caution in areas where footing is a concern. The pressure-sensitive adhesive backing bonds to concrete, metal, plastic, wood, tile, stone, and laminate surfaces. The textured surface provides traction underfoot, and the PVC rubber backing resists water vapor, mild acids, oils, alcohols, gases, and UV exposure. The roll can be cut to any desired length using a utility knife or heavy-duty scissors.
This grip tape is suited for both indoor and outdoor applications across residential and commercial settings. Typical install locations include stairway treads, entryways, walkways, loading dock ramps, trailer floors, ladders, and decking surfaces. It performs in hot and cold environments year-round, making it a practical option for facilities that need low-cost, fast-deploy slip mitigation. It is not rated for use on uneven, rough, grimy, damp, or dusty surfaces, or surfaces contaminated with mud, sand, dirt, or standing water.
Designed for application on smooth, clean, dry, and flat surfaces including concrete, metal, plastic, wood, tile, stone, and laminate. Not suitable for uneven, rough, grimy, damp, or dusty surfaces.
Surface must be clean, dry, and free of dust, grease, or loose material before application. Apply firm pressure along the full length of the tape to ensure full adhesive contact. Cut to desired length using a utility knife or heavy-duty scissors before or after positioning. No special trade license is required for installation, but facility safety coordinators and maintenance personnel should follow applicable OSHA slip-and-fall prevention guidelines when selecting placement locations.
