The WILLIAMS COMFORT PRODUCTS JHWISSXT924 is a Flextension — an integrated drive extension and socket unit designed for professional use in engine assembly, heavy equipment manufacturing, and mechanical repair. The 3/4 inch, 6-point socket is permanently joined to the 1/2 inch drive extension with a TIG-welded retention pin, eliminating the risk of socket separation during continuous operation. The SUPERTORQUE lobular socket opening delivers greater turning power while reducing fastener deformation. Maximum working torque is rated at 160 ft-lbs (1920 in-lbs / 217 Nm). The unit allows up to 30 degrees of angle offset for working in restricted or awkward fastener positions.
This Flextension is intended for use on hand tools and power tools including impulse and direct-drive tools. It is not rated for impact tool use. Typical applications include production assembly lines, fleet repair facilities, and heavy equipment service shops where a socket disconnecting from an extension during continuous-duty work is unacceptable. The integrated design supports reliable, uninterrupted fastener driving cycles in demanding industrial environments.
Designed as an OEM-style integrated drive extension and socket for 1/2 inch drive hand tools and impulse or direct-drive power tools. Not compatible with impact wrenches or impact drivers.
Installation and service should be performed by a qualified mechanic or assembly technician familiar with torque specifications for the application. Ensure the tool and Flextension are fully seated before applying torque. Do not use this Flextension with impact tools, as it is not rated for the shock loads generated by impact drivers or impact wrenches. Verify the working torque of the fastener does not exceed the rated maximum of 160 ft-lbs before use.
