The WILLIAMS COMFORT PRODUCTS JHWISSXM1216 is a Flextension drive extension and socket combination designed for use in engine and heavy equipment manufacturing, assembly, and repair environments. This 1/2 inch drive unit accepts 16 MM fasteners through a 6-point lobular socket opening, delivering higher turning power while reducing fastener deformation. The integrated, non-removable socket and extension design eliminates the risk of socket separation during continuous operation. Maximum working torque is rated at 160 ft-lbs (1,920 in-lbs / 217 Nm). Licensed HVAC, mechanical, and industrial technicians working in production or heavy repair settings rely on this tool for consistent, uninterrupted fastener driving.
This Flextension is suited for use in engine assembly lines, heavy equipment repair bays, and industrial maintenance applications where a standard drive extension and socket arrangement risks disconnection under load. The 6-point SUPERTORQUE lobular socket geometry engages fastener flats more evenly than a standard 6-point profile, making it appropriate for high-cycle production environments. The tool accommodates up to 30 degrees of angle offset, which adds reach into confined fastener locations common in engine bay and heavy machinery work. It is rated for hand tools and power tools including impulse and direct-drive tools. It is not rated for impact tool use.
Designed for use with 1/2 inch drive hand tools and power tools including impulse and direct-drive tools. Not compatible with impact tools.
This tool is intended for installation and removal of 16 MM fasteners in industrial and mechanical service settings. Confirm the tool is properly seated on the drive before applying torque. Do not exceed the rated maximum working torque of 160 ft-lbs. This Flextension is not approved for impact tool use and should not be used with an impact wrench or air hammer.
