The WILLIAMS COMFORT PRODUCTS JHWISSXM1016 is a Flextension drive extension with an integrated 16 MM, 6-point socket designed for use in engine and heavy equipment manufacturing, assembly, and repair environments. The socket is permanently joined to the extension — eliminating the disconnection risk common with standard ball-retained hand-tool sockets. The drive end features a 7/32 inch cross hole bevel for ease of handling, and the integrated assembly supports up to 30 degrees of angle offset for working in tight or awkward clearances. Maximum working torque is rated at 160 ft-lbs (1920 in-lbs / 217 Nm). Manufactured in the U.S.A. with a durable Black Oxide finish.
This Flextension is suited for professional use in automotive, diesel, and heavy equipment service environments where continuous, reliable fastener engagement is required. The integrated design is particularly valuable on assembly lines and in production repair settings where socket separation causes downtime. It is compatible with hand tools and power tools including impulse and direct drive tools. This tool is NOT rated for impact tool use. The SUPERTORQUE lobular socket opening applies torque more evenly to fastener flats, reducing the risk of rounding or deforming the fastener head during high-cycle or high-torque applications.
Designed for use with 1/2 inch drive hand tools and power tools including impulse and direct drive tools. Not compatible with impact tools.
Installation and use of this Flextension should be performed by qualified mechanics or assembly technicians familiar with drive tool operation and torque specifications. Verify that all fasteners are within the rated torque range before applying power tool drive. Do not exceed the maximum working torque of 160 ft-lbs. This tool is not rated for impact tool use — connecting to an impact driver may cause tool failure or personal injury.
