The WILLIAMS COMFORT PRODUCTS JHWISSXM1013 is a 1/2 inch drive Flextension with an integrated 13 MM 6-point socket, built for use in engine and heavy equipment manufacturing, assembly, and repair. The socket is permanently joined to the extension — no separate ball-retained socket — so the assembly stays intact during continuous, high-volume fastening work. The lobular SUPERTORQUE socket opening grips fastener flats more aggressively than standard hex profiles, reducing the chance of rounding during high-torque applications. Maximum working torque is rated at 160 ft-lbs (1,920 in-lbs / 217 Nm). This tool is rated for hand tools and power tools including impulse and direct-drive — it is not rated for impact tool use.
This Flextension is suited for production assembly lines, engine rebuild shops, and heavy equipment service environments where technicians need reliable socket retention and consistent access to fasteners at up to a 30-degree angle offset. The 7/32 inch cross hole bevel on the drive end makes coupling and decoupling from ratchets and power tool drives straightforward in tight quarters. Mechanics, assembly technicians, and shop service pros working on industrial and automotive applications will find this tool a practical fit for repetitive fastening tasks where socket drop-off creates workflow interruptions.
Designed for use with 1/2 inch drive hand tools and power tools (impulse or direct drive). Not compatible with impact tools. Other lengths and socket sizes are available by special order through Snap-on Industrial Brands representatives.
This tool is installed and removed by hand — no special tools required for coupling to a standard 1/2 inch drive. Always confirm the tool is fully seated on the drive before applying torque. Do not exceed the maximum working torque rating of 160 ft-lbs. This Flextension must not be used with impact wrenches or impact drivers, as the integrated design is not rated for impact loading.
