The WILLIAMS COMFORT PRODUCTS JHWISFXTM412 is a 3/8 inch drive, 12 MM, 6-point Flextension — a one-piece integrated drive extension and socket designed for high-demand fastening work. Unlike standard ball-retained sockets, the JHWISFXTM412 features a TIG-welded retention pin that permanently joins the socket to the extension, eliminating the risk of socket dropout during continuous operation. The SUPERTORQUE lobular socket opening delivers greater turning force while reducing fastener deformation. Maximum working torque is rated at 160 ft-lbs (1,920 in-lbs / 217 Nm). This tool is built for hand and power tool use, including impulse and direct drive applications.
The JHWISFXTM412 Flextension is used extensively in engine assembly, heavy equipment manufacturing, and mechanical repair environments where consistent socket retention and reliable torque transfer are critical. The up-to-30-degree angle offset allows access to fasteners in tight or angled positions that a rigid extension cannot reach. The drive end features a 7/32 inch cross hole bevel for easier tool engagement. This tool is suited for production line technicians, assembly workers, and professional mechanics who require a dependable, no-slip extension-socket combination on the bench or in the field.
Designed for use with hand tools and power tools including impulse and direct drive equipment. NOT FOR IMPACT TOOL USE. Compatible with standard 3/8 inch drive tool systems.
This Flextension is intended for hand tool and power tool use only — do not use with impact drivers or impact wrenches. Verify the drive coupling is fully seated before applying torque. Do not exceed the maximum working torque of 160 ft-lbs. Inspect the TIG-welded retention pin and socket opening for wear or damage before each use.
