The WILLIAMS COMFORT PRODUCTS JHWISFXTD612 is a Flextension drive extension with an integrated, non-removable socket design rated for continuous heavy-duty use. Built for 3/8 inch drive applications with a 3/8 inch socket, this tool delivers up to 30 degrees of angle offset and a maximum working torque of 160 ft-lbs (1,920 in-lbs / 217 Nm). The socket retention pin is TIG welded directly to the extension, providing full rotational power transfer without the risk of the socket separating during operation. Finished in black oxide for corrosion resistance, it is manufactured in the U.S.A. Weighing 0.53 pounds, it is sized for technicians working in tight or angled fastener access situations.
This Flextension is used extensively in engine and heavy equipment manufacturing, assembly, and repair environments. The integrated extension-and-socket configuration is specifically engineered for situations where a conventional ball-retained socket could disconnect mid-operation, reducing downtime and improving productivity on the line or in the shop. The drive end features a 7/32 inch cross hole bevel for easier engagement. Suitable for use with hand tools and power tools running impulse or direct drive. This tool is NOT rated for impact tool use.
Designed for use with 3/8 inch drive hand tools and power tools operating in impulse or direct drive mode. Compatible with engine and heavy equipment assembly and repair applications requiring a 3/8 inch socket. Not for use with impact tools.
This Flextension should be installed and operated by qualified mechanical technicians familiar with drive tool torque limits. Confirm the tool is rated for the fastener torque specification before use, and never exceed the 160 ft-lbs maximum working torque. Do not use with impact wrenches or impact drivers, as the integrated design is not rated for impact loads. Inspect the TIG-welded retention pin and socket interface for wear or damage before each use.
