The WILLIAMS COMFORT PRODUCTS JHWISFXT616 is a 1/2 inch drive Flextension, a combined drive extension and socket unit designed for high-demand industrial applications. The integrated, non-removable socket eliminates the risk of the socket disconnecting mid-task, a common issue with standard ball-retained hand-tool sockets. The 6-point lobular socket opening delivers increased turning power while reducing fastener deformation. Rated to a maximum working torque of 160 ft-lbs (1920 in-lbs / 217 Nm), this Flextension is built for continuous, reliable use in engine and heavy equipment manufacturing, assembly, and repair environments.
This Flextension is used extensively on production lines and in repair facilities where consistent socket engagement is critical. The 3/8 inch drive end features a 7/32 inch cross hole bevel for easier handling and connection. The up-to-30-degree angle offset allows access to fasteners in restricted or angled positions. It is rated for use with hand tools and power tools including impulse and direct-drive tools. This unit is NOT rated for impact tool use. Machinists, assembly technicians, and heavy equipment mechanics are the primary users of this tool.
Designed for use with hand tools and power tools including impulse and direct-drive tools. Not compatible with impact tools. Other socket sizes and lengths are available by special order.
This Flextension is intended for assembly technicians and mechanics working on engine and heavy equipment applications. Before use, confirm the tool drive rating matches the application torque requirements. Do not use with impact wrenches or impact drivers, as this unit is not rated for impact tool use. Inspect the TIG-welded retention pin and socket engagement before each use to confirm integrity.
