The WILLIAMS COMFORT PRODUCTS JHWISFXT614 is an integrated flextension combining a 3/8 inch drive extension and a 7/16 inch socket in a single, non-removable assembly. The socket retention pin is TIG welded to the drive extension, eliminating the disconnection risk common with standard ball-retained hand-tool sockets. This design allows uninterrupted, continuous fastener driving in demanding production and repair environments. The JHWISFXT614 is rated for a maximum working torque of 160 ft-lbs (1,920 in-lbs / 217 Nm) and accommodates up to a 30-degree angle offset. It is designed for use with hand tools and power tools running impulse or direct drive. It is not rated for impact tool use.
This flextension is used extensively in engine assembly, heavy equipment manufacturing, and mechanical repair applications where a standard extension-and-socket combination would risk disengagement mid-operation. The integrated design increases productivity on production lines and in tight-access repair scenarios. The 3/8 inch drive end features a 7/32 inch cross hole bevel for easier tool engagement. The socket opening uses a SUPERTORQUE lobular profile that transmits higher turning force while reducing the risk of rounding or deforming the fastener head.
Designed for use with 3/8 inch drive hand tools and power tools using impulse or direct drive operation. Not compatible with impact tools.
This flextension is installed by hand or power tool technicians in assembly and repair settings. Verify that the drive tool is rated for the intended torque range before use. Do not use with impact drivers or impact wrenches, as the integrated design is not rated for impact-generated torque loads. Inspect the TIG weld and socket condition periodically during heavy production use.
