The WILLIAMS COMFORT PRODUCTS JHWISFXT1216 is a Flextension drive extension designed for high-demand industrial and mechanical applications. It combines the drive extension and socket into a single integrated, non-removable unit, eliminating the risk of socket separation during continuous operation. The drive end accepts a 3/8 inch drive and the socket size is 1/2 inch. The socket retention pin is TIG welded to the drive shaft, delivering full rotational power transfer. This tool is intended for use with hand tools and power tools such as impulse or direct-drive units. It is not rated for impact tool use. Technicians in engine assembly, heavy equipment manufacturing, and repair environments rely on this design for reliable, uninterrupted work cycles.
The JHWISFXT1216 Flextension is suited for engine assembly lines, heavy equipment repair bays, and production environments where socket drop-off creates costly downtime. The integrated socket design is especially valuable in confined or overhead work positions where retrieving a dropped socket is difficult or impossible. The 30-degree angle offset capability allows technicians to reach fasteners that a standard straight extension cannot access. This unit is sold individually and is compatible with hand-operated and direct-drive or impulse power tools.
Designed for use with hand tools and power tools including impulse and direct-drive tools with a 3/8 inch drive interface. Not designed or rated for impact tool use.
This Flextension is installed by mechanics and assembly technicians using standard 3/8 inch drive hand or power tools. Before use, confirm the drive tool is not an impact-rated unit, as impact use is not approved for this product. Inspect the TIG-welded retention pin and integrated socket for any visible damage before each use. Torque application should remain within the rated maximum of 160 ft-lbs to prevent tool damage or fastener failure.
