The WILLIAMS COMFORT PRODUCTS JHWISFX612 is a 3/8 inch drive, 6-point Flextension — an integrated drive extension and socket assembly designed for professional use in engine and heavy equipment manufacturing, assembly, and repair. Unlike standard ball-retained socket and extension combinations, this unit features a TIG-welded socket retention pin and a non-removable design that eliminates the risk of socket separation during continuous operation. The drive end includes a 7/32 inch cross hole bevel for easy handling, and the assembly supports up to a 30-degree angle offset. Maximum working torque is rated at 160 ft-lbs (1,920 in-lbs / 217 Nm).
This Flextension is suited for use on hand tools and power tools including impulse and direct-drive tools. It is not rated for impact tool use. Typical applications include production assembly lines, heavy equipment repair bays, and industrial maintenance environments where a socket disconnecting from an extension mid-task creates a productivity or safety concern. The SUPERTORQUE lobular socket opening delivers greater turning power while reducing fastener deformation — a design advantage in repetitive torque applications. Licensed trades and industrial mechanics working in manufacturing and fleet maintenance environments will find this a reliable tool for tight-clearance work.
Designed for use with hand tools and power tools (impulse or direct drive) accepting a 3/8 inch drive. Not for use with impact tools.
This tool is intended for use by industrial mechanics and trade professionals in assembly and repair environments. Before use, confirm the fastener size matches the 6-point socket to ensure proper engagement. Do not use this Flextension with impact wrenches or impact drivers, as it is not rated for impact tool use. Observe the maximum working torque of 160 ft-lbs to avoid tool damage or fastener failure.
