Product Description

The WILLIAMS COMFORT PRODUCTS JHWISFX414 is a Flextension — a combined drive extension and socket unit designed for engine and heavy equipment manufacturing, assembly, and repair. The socket and extension are integrated in a single non-removable assembly, eliminating the risk of the socket separating from the extension during continuous production or repair work. The 3/8 inch drive mates with a 7/16 inch, 6-point socket head featuring SUPERTORQUE lobular openings that apply turning force to the flat faces of a fastener, reducing the chance of rounding. Maximum working torque is 160 ft-lbs (1,920 in-lbs / 217 Nm).

The JHWISFX414 is suited for use in automotive and heavy equipment assembly lines, engine rebuild shops, and general industrial maintenance environments. The 6-point socket configuration is preferred when working with standard hex fasteners in tight or repetitive torque applications. The up-to-30-degree angle offset capability allows access to fasteners that are not in direct line with the drive tool. This Flextension is designed for use with hand tools and power tools operating in impulse or direct drive mode. It is not rated for impact tool use.

Compatibility
