The WILLIAMS COMFORT PRODUCTS JHW1214RSC is a 7/16 inch combination wrench built for professional-grade fastener work in demanding trade environments. It combines a SUPERCOMBO open end with a SUPERTORQUE box end in a single tool, with both openings sized identically at 7/16 inch. The SUPERCOMBO open end uses specially designed grooves to redirect wrench force away from fastener corners, reducing the risk of rounding. The SUPERTORQUE box end is a 12-point design engineered to apply torque on the flat surfaces behind fastener points rather than at the corners. The wrench weighs 0.172 pounds and measures 7.3 inches in length. It ships as an individual unit and carries a Hi-Vis Red finish for easy identification in a tool kit or on a job site.
This wrench is suited for mechanical, industrial, and trade applications where fastener integrity is critical. The 12-point box end meets or exceeds aerospace specification AS 954 for 12-point fasteners as defined by AS 870, making it appropriate for precision torque applications. The open end design also provides a meaningful advantage over conventional open-end wrenches on standard hex fasteners. It is equally useful for HVAC technicians, plumbers, electricians, and general mechanical tradespeople who work with 7/16 inch hex fasteners across a range of equipment and structural connections.
Designed for use with 7/16 inch hex fasteners including standard 6-point and 12-point configurations across general mechanical and trade applications. Conforms to Federal Specification ANSI B107.6.
This wrench is a hand tool used by licensed tradespeople across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general mechanical work. Before servicing any equipment, de-energize electrical systems and shut off gas or fluid supply as required by applicable codes. Use the box end for higher-torque applications and the open end where access is limited. Do not use extension bars or cheater pipes on combination wrenches, as this can exceed safe torque limits and damage the tool or fastener.
