The WILLIAMS COMFORT PRODUCTS JHW1193 is a combination wrench with a 2 3/16 inch opening designed for high-torque fastener work in demanding trade and industrial environments. It features a SUPERTORQUE box end that contacts the flat surfaces of hex fasteners rather than the corners, reducing the risk of rounding or deforming fastener points during heavy torque application. The open end uses a SUPERCOMBO profile with specially designed grooves that redirect wrenching force away from fastener corners. The satin chrome finish provides corrosion resistance. This wrench is sold individually and is appropriate for mechanics, pipefitters, millwrights, and other trades working with large-format fasteners.
The JHW1193 is suited for both residential and commercial maintenance, equipment installation, and mechanical assembly tasks where precise torque application is critical. The box end meets or exceeds aerospace specification AS 954 for 12-point fasteners as defined by AS 870, making it appropriate for precision applications requiring an accurate torque-to-tension relationship. The wrench may also be used on all common 6-point hex fasteners, offering greater flexibility than conventional box end wrenches. Both the box and open end openings are identical in size, simplifying fastener selection during service.
Designed for use on 2 3/16 inch hex fasteners, both 12-point and standard 6-point configurations, in mechanical, industrial, and trade service applications.
This wrench should be used by qualified tradespeople familiar with proper torque procedures for the fastener and joint type being serviced. Ensure the wrench opening is fully seated on the fastener before applying load to avoid slippage. Do not use extension cheater bars on combination wrenches, as this can exceed the tool's design limits and create a safety hazard. Always follow applicable codes and equipment manufacturer torque specifications for the assembly being serviced.
