The WILLIAMS COMFORT PRODUCTS ISSXTMD610 is a Flextension integrated drive extension and socket unit designed for professional use in engine and heavy equipment manufacturing, assembly, and repair. This 1/2 inch drive tool features a 10 MM, 12-point socket permanently joined to the extension via a TIG-welded retention pin, eliminating the risk of socket separation during continuous operation. The integrated construction transfers full rotational power directly to the fastener. Maximum working torque is rated at 160 ft-lbs (1,920 in-lbs / 217 Nm). Weighing 0.56 pounds and measuring approximately 7.41 inches in length, this tool is built for durability in demanding shop environments.
The ISSXTMD610 is suited for assembly lines, fleet maintenance shops, and heavy equipment repair facilities where uninterrupted fastener driving is critical. The SUPERTORQUE lobular socket opening applies greater turning force to fasteners while reducing the chance of rounding or deforming the fastener head. The drive end includes a 7/32 inch cross hole bevel for easy bit retention and handling. This Flextension supports up to 30 degrees of angle offset, allowing access to fasteners in tight or awkward positions. It is designed for use with hand tools and power tools including impulse and direct drive types. It is NOT rated for impact tool use.
Designed for use with hand tools and power tools including impulse and direct drive equipment. Not compatible with impact tools. Other lengths and socket sizes are available by special order through authorized Williams Industrial Brands representatives.
This tool is intended for use by trained technicians in assembly, maintenance, and repair applications. Do not use this Flextension with impact wrenches or impact drivers, as it is not rated for impact tool use. Ensure the drive end is fully seated in the tool drive before applying torque. Inspect the TIG-welded retention pin and socket opening for wear or damage before each use.
