The WILLIAMS COMFORT PRODUCTS 61SP is a user-set torque screwdriver designed for precise fastening applications requiring controlled torque output. The tool covers a range of 10 to 100 inch-ounces and accepts standard 1/4-inch hex bits via a universal bit holder with a rare-earth magnet retention system. A cam-over torque-limiting clutch disengages at the set point, preventing overtorque on sensitive components. At 0.56 pounds, the lightweight handheld form factor suits confined-space work and repetitive fastening tasks common in HVAC, electrical panel assembly, and controls installation.
The 61SP is suited for residential and light commercial service work where consistent, repeatable torque is required on small fasteners and terminal screws. The user-set design allows the technician to dial in the desired torque value on the job. A factory pre-set variant is also available, calibrated to a customer-specified setting and supplied with a Certificate of Calibration for traceability in quality-controlled environments.
Designed for use with standard 1/4-inch hex shank bits; suitable for fastening applications across HVAC controls, electrical, and related trade service work where torque-limiting screwdrivers are specified.
This tool is used by licensed HVAC technicians, electricians, and controls specialists. Before adjusting or replacing fasteners on live electrical or control components, de-energize the equipment and follow applicable NEC or equipment manufacturer lockout procedures. Set the desired torque value on the screwdriver before beginning work. Do not use impact drivers or power tools to drive this screwdriver — it is a hand torque instrument only.
