The WILLIAMS COMFORT PRODUCTS 2001-I-MT2W is a replacement sensor for the Multitorq portable electronic torque analyzer and data acquisition system. The sensor attaches between a socket and driver, feeding live torque readings directly to the Multitorq display unit. Accuracy is rated at 1% of reading across 10-100% of sensor range (2% of reading for the 20 in. oz. and 10 in. lb. ranges). Sensors are available in eight ranges spanning from 2-20 in. oz. up to 150-1500 ft. lb., allowing technicians to match the sensor to the specific torque application at hand.
This sensor is suited for use in industrial, mechanical, and trade service environments where precise torque measurement and data collection are required. It is compatible with standard sockets, extensions, universal joints, and ratcheting drivers, making it adaptable to a wide variety of fastening and assembly tasks. Technicians working in HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical service disciplines will find this sensor useful wherever documented torque verification is needed.
Designed for use with the Multitorq portable electronic torque meter and data acquisition system. Sensors are sold separately from the display unit and are selected by torque range to match the application.
Installation is performed by trade technicians or calibration personnel familiar with torque measurement equipment. Power down or disconnect any associated data acquisition equipment before swapping sensors. Ensure the sensor range selected is appropriate for the fastener torque specification being verified. Handle sensors carefully to avoid shock or impact damage, which can affect calibration accuracy.
