The WILKERSON WSA-08-FM0 is an oil-water filter/separator designed for compressed air systems that require reliable liquid and gas separation before downstream equipment. This unit features an automatic drain and NPT end connections, making it a practical choice for service technicians and industrial maintenance professionals. Rated to 200 psi maximum working pressure, it stands 10 inches tall and measures 4.62 inches wide. The WSA-08-FM0 handles bulk liquid removal from compressed air lines, protecting sensitive downstream components from moisture and oil carryover that can cause premature failure or reduced performance.
This separator is intended for installation downstream of air receivers and aftercoolers, where condensed water and entrained oil collect in the compressed air stream. It is also suited for use ahead of refrigerant dryers and heatless regenerative desiccant dryers, where liquid water ingestion is a known failure risk. Typical installations are found in industrial facilities, manufacturing plants, and commercial compressed air distribution systems. Licensed mechanical contractors and industrial service technicians are the primary installers of this type of equipment.
Designed for use downstream of air receivers and aftercoolers in compressed air systems, and as a pre-filter protecting refrigerant dryers and heatless regenerative desiccant dryers from liquid water carryover. NPT thread size is 1 inch.
Installation should be performed by a qualified mechanical contractor or industrial maintenance technician familiar with compressed air system piping. De-pressurize and isolate the air line completely before removing or installing any separator component. Verify that inlet and outlet pipe threads are clean and use appropriate thread sealant rated for compressed air service. Ensure the unit is oriented correctly per the manufacturer directional markings so the automatic drain functions as intended.
