The WILKERSON R28-03-F000B is a standard compressed air regulator designed to control and maintain downstream air pressure in pneumatic systems. Built from aluminum die cast construction, this Series 28 regulator handles a maximum supply pressure of 300 psi and delivers up to 228 CFM of airflow through a 3/8 inches NPT port. It includes a built-in relief function that vents excess downstream pressure when the set point is lowered, making it suitable for systems requiring accurate pressure control. A 1/4 inches gauge port is included for optional pressure gauge installation. Licensed industrial mechanics, maintenance technicians, and pneumatic system installers are the typical trade professionals who service this type of component.
The R28-03-F000B is suited for industrial and commercial compressed air distribution applications where consistent downstream pressure regulation is required. Its modular connection design allows integration into Wilkerson Series 28 filter-regulator-lubricator (FRL) modular assemblies or use as a standalone inline regulator. The 0 to 125 psi output pressure range covers the majority of standard pneumatic tool and equipment requirements. Operating temperature range starts at -13 degrees F, making it functional in cold storage and outdoor service environments.
Designed for use in Wilkerson Series 28 modular compressed air treatment systems. Compatible with standard 3/8 inches NPT pneumatic plumbing. Modular connection allows inline pairing with Series 28 filters and lubricators.
Installation should be performed by a qualified pneumatic systems technician or industrial maintenance professional. Depressurize and lock out the compressed air supply before removing or installing any regulator. Apply thread sealant appropriate for compressed air service to NPT connections and torque fittings per the fitting manufacturer specifications. Verify downstream pressure setting with a calibrated gauge after installation before returning the system to service.
