The WILKERSON R21-04-000 is a dial air compressed air regulator designed to control downstream pressure in industrial and commercial compressed air systems. Part of the R21 series, it accepts supply pressures up to 300 psi and delivers a regulated output range of 5 to 160 psi through a 1/2 inch NPT port. Maximum airflow capacity is 195 CFM, making it suitable for high-demand pneumatic circuits. The regulator includes a built-in relief function to vent excess downstream pressure. The zinc body construction keeps weight low at 2.3 pounds. Licensed mechanical contractors, industrial maintenance technicians, and pneumatic system installers are the typical end users.
The R21-04-000 is used in compressed air distribution systems where precise downstream pressure control is required. Typical applications include pneumatic tool supply lines, air-operated equipment, and process control panels in light industrial, manufacturing, and facility maintenance environments. The 1/2 inch NPT end connections suit a wide range of standard pipe fittings commonly found in these installations. A 1/4 inch gauge port thread is available for adding a downstream pressure gauge if monitoring is required. The fluid type is compressed air only.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation regulator for compressed air systems using 1/2 inch NPT connections with supply pressures up to 300 psi and airflow demands up to 195 CFM.
Installation should be performed by a qualified mechanic or pipefitter familiar with compressed air system design and applicable codes. Depressurize and isolate the compressed air supply completely before installing or removing the regulator. Apply appropriate thread sealant to NPT connections in accordance with system requirements and local codes. Do not exceed the 300 psi maximum supply pressure rating or operate below the 32 degrees F minimum temperature rating.
