The WILKERSON F28-04-SG00B is a general purpose compressed air filter designed to remove particulates and moisture from compressed air lines in industrial and commercial pneumatic systems. Built on the Series 28 modular platform, it accepts a 1/2 inch NPT port and flows up to 120 standard cubic feet per minute (SCFM). The sintered polyethylene filter media captures contaminants before they reach downstream equipment. An automatic drain removes collected liquid without manual intervention. The polycarbonate bowl with nylon bowl guard provides a clear view of bowl contents while protecting against accidental impact. This filter is installed by industrial maintenance technicians, pipefitters, and HVAC-mechanical service professionals.
This filter is suited for general purpose compressed air service in manufacturing facilities, mechanical rooms, and service shops where clean, dry air is required for pneumatic tools, actuators, and control equipment. The modular connection design allows it to be combined with other Series 28 components such as regulators and lubricators to form a complete filter-regulator-lubricator (FRL) assembly. The included sight glass aids in monitoring bowl conditions without disassembling the unit. Bowl capacity is 2.87 ounces, appropriate for moderate condensate loads in typical shop or light industrial environments.
Designed for use in Series 28 modular compressed air treatment systems. Modular connection allows direct combination with compatible Series 28 regulators, lubricators, and accessories. Consult system documentation to verify FRL assembly compatibility before ordering.
Installation should be performed by a qualified pipefitter or industrial maintenance technician familiar with compressed air systems. Depressurize and lock out the compressed air supply completely before installing or servicing this filter. Apply thread sealant to NPT connections in accordance with applicable plumbing and pneumatic system codes. Orient the bowl downward as intended for proper condensate collection and automatic drain operation.
