The WILKERSON F28-03-SL00B is a general purpose compressed air filter designed to remove liquid water, oil aerosols, and particulate contamination from compressed air lines. Built around a sintered polyethylene filter media, it delivers up to 115 standard cubic feet per minute (SCFM) of filtered airflow through a 3/8 inch NPT port. The aluminum bowl and nylon bowl guard construction keep weight low while maintaining durability in typical shop and industrial environments. A built-in sight glass lets technicians monitor bowl liquid levels without disassembly. This filter is installed by maintenance technicians, industrial pipefitters, and pneumatic system specialists as part of an air preparation train.
The F28-03-SL00B fits into compressed air distribution systems where point-of-use filtration is required ahead of regulators, lubricators, valves, or pneumatic tools. With a bowl capacity of 2.87 ounces and a manual drain, it suits low-to-moderate condensate applications in light manufacturing, maintenance shops, and process equipment installations. The modular connection feature allows integration into multi-unit air preparation assemblies within the Series 28 product family. Typical installation is in horizontal or vertical-inlet orientations per the manufacturer guidance for the series.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation filter for compressed air preparation systems requiring a 3/8 inch NPT inlet filter within the WILKERSON Series 28 modular product family.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with compressed air system piping. Depressurize and isolate the air line completely before removing or installing any filter component. NPT threaded connections should be sealed with appropriate thread sealant tape per standard practice and tightened to avoid cross-threading aluminum fittings. Verify bowl drain is closed before repressurizing the system and confirm there are no leaks at all connection points before returning the system to service.
