The WILKERSON F18-04-SH00B is a general purpose compressed air filter designed to remove particulate contamination from compressed air lines in industrial and commercial pneumatic systems. Built around a sintered polyethylene filter media, it delivers up to 82 standard cubic feet per minute (SCFM) of filtered airflow through a 1/2 inch NPT port. The aluminum bowl with nylon bowl guard construction keeps the unit lightweight and corrosion-resistant. An integrated automatic drain eliminates the need for manual moisture purging during normal operation, reducing maintenance intervals on active air lines. Licensed contractors and industrial maintenance technicians are the primary installers of this filter.
The F18-04-SH00B is suited for use in plant air distribution systems, pneumatic tool supply lines, and compressed air preparation trains in both light industrial and general manufacturing environments. Its Series 18 modular connection design allows it to be combined with other Series 18 components such as regulators and lubricators to build a complete filter-regulator-lubricator (FRL) assembly. The included sight glass lets technicians monitor bowl contamination levels without disassembly. Bowl capacity is 1.7 ounces, appropriate for moderate-duty condensate loads.
Designed as an OEM-style component for Series 18 modular compressed air preparation systems. Modular connection ports allow inline pairing with compatible Series 18 regulators and lubricators.
Installation should be performed by a qualified industrial maintenance technician or pneumatic systems professional. Depressurize and lock out the compressed air supply completely before removing or installing any filter in the air line. Verify that inlet and outlet flow direction matches line markings on the filter body before tightening NPT connections. Follow applicable facility safety procedures and compressed air system codes during installation and commissioning.
