The WILKERSON F18-03-SL00B is a general purpose compressed air filter designed to remove contaminants from compressed air lines in industrial and commercial pneumatic systems. Built on the Series 18 platform, it accepts a 3/8 inch NPT port with standard NPT end connections and delivers up to 78 standard cubic feet per minute (SCFM) of filtered flow. The filter media is sintered polyethylene, which traps particulate matter while maintaining stable airflow. An integrated sight glass allows technicians to monitor bowl conditions without disassembly. The aluminum bowl and nylon bowl guard construction keeps weight low at 0.62 pounds while providing adequate durability for typical shop and production environments.
This filter is suited for light to medium industrial compressed air applications including pneumatic tool supply lines, process equipment, and general compressed air distribution systems. It is intended for installation by maintenance technicians, pipefitters, or pneumatic system specialists. The 3/8 inch NPT connection makes it compatible with common fractional compressed air piping configurations. The manual drain and 1.7 oz bowl capacity are appropriate for systems with moderate moisture accumulation. Minimum rated operating temperature is -13 degrees F, supporting use in cold storage and outdoor enclosure installations.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation filter for general purpose compressed air systems using 3/8 inch NPT piping connections in the WILKERSON Series 18 modular filter family.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician with the compressed air system fully depressurized and isolated before service. Use thread sealant approved for compressed air service on all NPT connections and torque fittings according to the fitting manufacturer's standard guidance for the pipe size. Mount the filter bowl pointing downward to allow condensate to collect for manual draining. Follow applicable local codes and the system manufacturer's maintenance intervals for bowl drainage and media replacement.
