The WILKERSON F18-03-SH00B is a general purpose compressed air filter designed to remove particulate contamination from compressed air lines in industrial and commercial pneumatic systems. It features a 3/8 inch NPT port with NPT end connections and delivers a rated flow capacity of 78 standard cubic feet per minute (SCFM). The filter media is sintered polyethylene, which captures solid particles before they reach downstream components such as regulators, lubricators, or pneumatic tools. An automatic drain removes accumulated condensate without manual intervention. A built-in sight glass allows quick visual inspection of bowl fluid level. Licensed technicians and industrial maintenance professionals typically install and service this filter.
This filter is suited for general purpose compressed air filtration in residential, light commercial, and industrial pneumatic systems. It is commonly installed at the point of entry to a pneumatic circuit or ahead of sensitive components requiring clean, dry air. The Series 18 design supports modular connection, making it compatible with other Series 18 filter-regulator-lubricator (FRL) components for inline assembly. The aluminum bowl with nylon bowl guard housing is rated for operation down to -13 degrees F, making it appropriate for a range of ambient conditions.
Designed as a general purpose compressed air filter for pneumatic systems using 3/8 inch NPT connections. Supports modular inline assembly with Series 18 FRL components.
Installation and service should be performed by a qualified industrial or mechanical technician familiar with compressed air systems. Depressurize and lock out the air supply before installing or servicing this filter. Ensure all NPT threaded connections are properly sealed with appropriate thread sealant rated for compressed air service. Follow applicable local codes and system manufacturer guidelines for compressed air filtration placement and maintenance intervals.
