The WILKERSON F18-02-SL00B is a general purpose compressed air filter designed to remove contaminants from compressed air lines in industrial and commercial pneumatic systems. Rated at 50 standard cubic feet per minute (SCFM), it accepts 1/4 in NPT connections and uses a sintered polyethylene filter media to capture particulates before they reach downstream equipment. The aluminum bowl with nylon bowl guard and integrated sight glass allows quick inspection of the condensate level without disassembly. A manual drain handles moisture removal. Installed by industrial maintenance technicians, pipefitters, and pneumatic system specialists, this filter is part of the Wilkerson Series 18 modular filtration lineup.
This filter is suited for general purpose compressed air filtration in light to medium industrial environments. The modular connection design makes it compatible with other Series 18 components, allowing it to be configured into a multi-stage filter-regulator-lubricator (FRL) assembly. Typical installations include pneumatic tool supply lines, automation equipment, and production machinery where clean, dry air is required. The 1/4 in NPT port size is common in smaller pneumatic circuits and bench-top equipment setups.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation filter for Series 18 modular compressed air filtration assemblies using 1/4 in NPT porting.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with compressed air system piping. Depressurize and lock out the air supply before installing or servicing the filter. Apply thread sealant appropriate for compressed air service to all NPT connections and avoid over-tightening to prevent cracking the bowl or fittings. Drain accumulated condensate regularly using the manual drain to maintain filtration performance.
